I got out some of my 18th century stuff today, and looked through it. I haven't made it to a reenactment in almost 2 years, because things keep coming up at the worst time. I hope I can make the one in march, but I don't know if it'll happen. At any rate, I love the hobby, and have some nice gear. I just would like to get the chance to do it more.

One of the big lessons I've made over the years, is you've got to make the time to do the things you want to do. Yeah, sometimes we've got to do those things that are required, but most times we let trivia get in the way of doing what we want to do.
