On my way to see my sweetheart and my boy-o! I'm one happy man.
And a special thanks for those that my dad sent over. 1/12 done, guys. 11 weeks to go. As hard as it is, i wouldn't trade this experience.
Musings and ramblings about food, family, guns, and historic interpretation, and police work from Sportsman's Paradise.

My precious Nephew, please remember when you're tired, angry or frustrated this week that you come from strong stock. You would not be here if your ancestors gave up when they were rounded up and forced from their homes in Nova Scotia. Remember that your 5th great grandfather got on a ship from Malaga, Spain and traveled to South Louisiana to start a colony that is now New Iberia, that a grandfather was put in "The Clink" for preaching what he believed in and then put on a ship to a new world shortly after the Pilgrims landed here. Remember that your grandfathers did what they needed to make a better life for their families and didn't take "No" for an answer. You come from good stock and you will get through these next several months. I know of that from which you come! I love you, Aunt Fran
