I've been scrounging for lead, lately. I told my brother that of he found some lead, I'd cast bullets on halfsies. Well, he came through. He brought me about 20 pounds of wheel weights. I brought them to my dad, because he has a smelting pot, and he processed them for me last week, leaving me about 16 pounds of usable metal. When I picked them up from dad, he gave me some pure lead ingots to mix with them, and stretch it a bit. Well, this morning, I filled at Lee 4-20 lead pot, and started casting 9mm. I made about 350, but after I culled the badly poured ones, I was left with about 300. I've lubed them, and now they're sitting on my bench, letting the lube dry.
One step closer to full-fledged reloading!
