My favorite knife, hands down, is a Case Sodbuster. I've had 3 over the years (not to mention 5 or 6 Sodbuster Jr.'s). The first two had stainless steel blades and black handles. I've lost them both, much to my regret (especially since the second one was a gift from my father).
I got my hands on another one last week. It has a chrome-vanadium blade, which will hold a better edge than the stainless ones. It also has the traditional yellow handle that you find on many old Case knives.
This knife is now my daily carry knife, and I'm hoping I don't misplace this one anytime soon.
