The Kidd

My sister and her crew were in town this weekend, and before she left for home, we all went to see the USS  Kidd, a destroyer that served in the Korean War and WWII. It is now (and has been for years) docked in Baton Rouge. It is a great piece of history, and serves as a great reminder of what the navy boys lived in while at sea. If you are ever in Baton Rouge, you should go see it.

Your grandpa Boonie served on one of those during the Korean conflict.
