Slim Jim

Working on a Slim Jim rig for PawPaw. First, there's tooling.

Then there's dyeing.

This is right after dyeing. It's going to lighten up considerably. After it does, I will apply anot her stain that will darken it back to about this color, and will highlight the tooling.

There's still a lot of work to do, but I'm liking the results.

Lol. Yeah. Seeing something familiar from a different perspective has a way of throwing you a curve. Our brain wants to see what it expects and is familiar with!
