Turkey Shoot

Well, the turkey shoot went well. My father raised several hundred for his church, and the ladies of the church raised several hundred more selling pulled pork sandwiches, lemonade, chips, soda, water, and baked goods.

We had a fun time, and my wife won 2nd place in the women's division, winning a ham.

My son didn't finish in the prises, but he was the youngest shooter present today, and placed 4th.

I came in somewhere around 10th place in the male adult division, but I had a great time anyway.

On the way home, we stopped at a gas station for a loaf of white bread and a powerball ticket.

It was a great way to spend a Saturday, and we raised some money for the mission fund. I'll say amen to that.
